Dasher named preseason Sun Belt offensive POY

Just when MTSU quarterback Dwight Dasher is finally getting the accolades he deserves, head coach Rick Stockstill wants him to do less.

Dasher was named preseason Sun Belt Conference offensive player of the year on Monday after becoming only the fourth player in NCAA history to pass for 2,500 yards and rush for 1,000 yards in a single season last year. But Stockstill hopes his senior signal-caller will not have to run quite as a much this season.
